What is domain privacy protection?

It replaces your personal WHOIS contact data with proxy details to reduce spam and unwanted contact. Many popular TLDs (.com, .net, .org) support it; some country or special TLDs may not.

How does the AI domain generator work?

How do I delegate my .AR / .COM.AR domain to WizHosting’s DNS?

Quick guide to delegate your .AR / .COM.AR domain to WizHosting.

**WizHosting nameservers**
- ns1.wizhosting.com
- ns2.wizhosting.com
- ns3.wizhosting.com
- ns4.wizhosting.com

**IMPORTANT**
- Do **NOT** use the “Autodelegación / Autodelegate” option in NIC’s tutorial. Just enter the four nameservers above.

**Requirements**
- Access to your **NIC Argentina** account (Residents: CUIT/CUIL + AFIP Clave Fiscal level 2+; Non-residents: User/ID + password).

**Steps**
1) Log into **nic.ar** (Ingreso).
2) From **My domains**, open the domain you want to configure.
3) Click **Delegar / Modify delegation**.
4) **Add a new delegation** if needed.
5) Enter **ns1..ns4.wizhosting.com** one by one and **save** each.
6) Click **Ejecutar cambios** to confirm.

**Verification**
- Changes are usually active **during the day** (propagation may vary).
- Check with DNS tools that your domain is answering with WizHosting NS.

**Common issues**
- **Autodelegación** is only for DNS **inside the same domain** (host + IP). For WizHosting, just enter the four NS above.
- **Cannot confirm**: remove old DNS, re-add WizHosting NS, then **Ejecutar cambios**.
- **Domain in dispute/frozen**: you can’t delegate from your list; contact **NIC Argentina**.

**1. I want to register a new domain with WizHosting**

- **What it does:** Search for and register a brand new domain (e.g., yourcompany.com) that doesn't exist yet.
- **When to choose it:** When you **don't have your own domain** and want to get a new one. Enter the desired name, check availability, and add it to your order.
- **Ideal for:** New projects, startups, or sites starting from scratch.

**2. I have a domain at another provider and want to transfer and renew it**

- **What it does:** Transfer the domain registration from your current provider to WizHosting. This also renews it for an additional year.
- **When to choose it:** When you **already have a .com, .net, or other international TLD** registered elsewhere and want everything (hosting + domain) in one place.
- **Requirements:** Unlock the domain at your current provider and obtain the EPP/Auth code.
- **Note:** Transfer may take 5–7 days for .COM/.NET.

**3. I already have a domain and want to use it by changing DNS**

- **What it does:** Use a domain you already own **without transferring it**. Simply configure WizHosting's DNS at your current registrar.
- **When to choose it:** When you want to **keep your domain at its current registrar** (for example, because it's a .COM.AR or .AR that you manage via NIC Argentina) but want it to point to your WizHosting hosting.
- **Tip:** For **.com.ar or other *.ar domains**, this is the recommended option since those domains cannot be transferred outside NIC Argentina.
- **Steps:** Set WizHosting's NS (ns1, ns2, ns3, ns4.wizhosting.com) in your NIC or registrar panel.

**4. I want to use a free WizHosting subdomain**

- **What it does:** We assign you a temporary subdomain like **yourname.wiz.com.ar** at no cost.
- **When to choose it:** When you want to **test the hosting before investing in a domain**, or simply need a temporary test/development site.
- **Note:** Not recommended for professional sites, but perfect for testing.
